"Short /i/Sound"
We are working on the "short i" sound in first grade. To help us remember what sound "short i" makes, we have a special hand signal. We itch our nose with our pointer finger. While itching the top of our nose, we say "i, i, itch." Have your child demonstrate for you. It is a cute one!
