Reading:
This week we will be focusing on the long /o/ sound. We recognize long /o/ as: oa, ow, 0_e, o.
We are also looking at -er and -est endings. For example; big, bigger and biggest.

Math:
We will continue to focus on fractions. We will be dividing into 1/2, 1/3 and 1/4. Ask students about the fraction pizzas they created. They are fabulous!

READING ROCKS:
Please think about donating any items associated with reading to our carnival basket. We are in desperate need of donations. Cash donations are also greatly appreciated. Some ideas for our basket include; books, reading light, comfy chair, bookmark, snacks, cuddly reading buddy, etc... Thank you in advance for your donations!
